Meet the Team
April, Dental Assistant
Duties: Assisting the dentist in all clinical procedures and educating patients about their needed treatment.

Favorite thing about my job: Working with the wonderful staff.
Favorite thing about dentistry: Meeting new people and forming relationships with them.
Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: His passion for his Christian faith and his generosity towards patients and staff.
Family Members: Husband Kelvin and son Shelton.
Leisure Activities: Spending time with my son, horseback riding and traveling with my husband.

Becky, Dental Hygienist
Duties: Routine cleanings, fluoride, x-rays, sealants, periodontal exams and treatment, whitening teeth, and patient education.

Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: His passion for dentistry, his compassion for patients and community, and his sense of humor.
Favorite thing about dentistry: Individual care we are able to give patients.
Favorite thing about my job: The wonderful patients, loving staff, beautiful office, and continuing education.
Family members: Husband Ronnie, sons Neil and Hal, daughter-in-law Kerrie, grandsons Hayes and Drake.
Leisure activities: Spending time with my family, reading, and gardening.
Brandi, Dental Assistant
Duties: Assisting the dentist in all clinical procedures.

Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: His gentle touch with injections, kind heart, easy to work for, and laid back.
Favorite thing about dentistry: The teamwork, meeting patients, and bringing back their smile.
Favorite thing about my job: Bringing peoples smiles back and the team I work with are my second family.
Family members: Trae, stepson Kelly, and son Cameron.
Leisure activities: Baseball games at Catholic High School, the beach, spending time with my sons.
Bet you didn't know: I have two cats that are like my children. Their names are Eddie, who is 4, and Kesha, who is 10 weeks.
Corie, Dental Hygienist
Duties: Routine cleanings, x-rays, sealants, and periodontal treatment.

Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: Being able to have a close, family-like relationship with co-workers.
Favorite thing about my job: Meeting new people and forming relationships with patients.
Family members: Husband Glen, daughters Ryian and Jordan.
Leisure activities: Traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.
Diane, Team Leader
Duties: I help keep the office running smoothly. I am constantly seeking new ways to improve and enhance each patient’s dental experience. I work closely with insurance companies to insure our patients receive the benefits they are entitled. I discuss treatment and financial arrangements.
Favorite thing about my job: One of the things I like most about my job is following the patient from their initial visit to the completion of their treatment and seeing their amazing results. We see a lot of people with fears and anxieties and many times they have put off any dental visits for years. If you are one of those people, let us help you. It is a good feeling to help people. One visit to us and you will see we far exceed your expectations.

Jennifer, Business Assistant
Duties: I am one of the first friendly voices you may hear or smiling faces you will see at our office. I assist patients with appointments, billing, and insurance questions and foremost, I do whatever I can to make patients' office experience as pleasurable as possible.

Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: He is a unique, very compassionate, and extremely gracious individual.
Favorite thing about dentistry: Seeing and hearing the results of satisfied patients from the care provided by our team.
Favorite thing about my job: Our family oriented environment, terrific co-workers and meeting wonderful patients. I am truly blessed to be part of this team.
Family members: Daughters Julia and Jade, family dog, Roxee.
Leisure activities: Spending time with family and friends, boating, water activities, participating in and watching sporting events.
Jessica, Team Leader
Duties: I support our team and make sure that patients continue to be our top priority.
With ADC since: August 1996
Favorite thing about dentistry: Going on team continuing education trips, learning the latest techniques and practices in the dental field and applying that into practice to make our patients more comfortable in the dental environment.
Favorite thing about my job: Working with all of my team members. We are all one big extended family. We have a wonderful office that is pleasant to spend time in and has current equipment and beautiful decor.
Leisure activities: Biking, yoga, and healthy and natural living.
Marisa, Dental Hygienist
Duties: Routine cleanings, periodontal treatment, radiographs, fluoride treatments, NTI's, and oral health education.

Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: His soft and gentle chairside manner with patients.
Favorite thing about dentistry: Helping people understand oral health and watching restored smiles.
Favorite thing about my job: I love people. I love the one on one contact and personal care I can give my patients.
Family members: Husband Donnie, daughter Brittany, son Zac, and dog/child Huck.
Leisure activities: Spending time with family and friends, shopping, traveling, making jewelry, and decorating.
Michele, Registered Dental Hygienist
Duties: Prophylaxis cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, periodontal diagnosis and root planning and curettage, sealants, orthodontic patient management, oral cancer screenings, tension suppression systems for TMD, teeth whitening and oral education.

Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: The way he gives back to the community.
Favorite thing about dentistry: Education-- it's encouraging when patients change bad habits to improve their hygiene.
Favorite thing about my job: My patients and co-workers. Some have become extended family.
Family members: Husband Cody, sons Corbin and Cole.
Leisure activities: Reading, pottery classes, dirt bike riding, scrapbooking, decorating, and gardening.
Bet you didn't know: Associate of science degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2000 passed the National Exam, passed the Florida Dental Hygiene board in 2001.

Family Members: I have four brothers and one sister, my boyfriend Greg and dogs Beau and Bella, my mother who is my best friend and stepdad Rickey.
Leisure Activities: Traveling, basketball, going to the beach and being with family and friends
Bet you didn’t know: I was born and raised in Mathews, Louisiana and moved to the area in June of 2008.
Vonda-Dental Assistant
Duties: Assisting the dentist with clinical procedures.
Favorite thing about Dr. Spurlock: His compassion for his patients and the way he gives back locally and abroad. Also, his unique sense of humor.
Favorite thing about my job: I enjoy working as a team with such a talented and compassionate group of people. It feels like family here.
Family Members: My husband Lowell and my children. Eric, Jessica, Philip and Rachel.
Leisure activities: Spending time with my family and my church family, reading, rubber stamping with freinds, papercrafting and volunteerism.

Duties: Assist patients with making appointments and discussing their treatment.

Favorite thing about my job: Getting to know the patients and co workers. We have a great team at ADC. Everyone works well together and really takes that extra step to make the patient comfortable. I love my job!
Leisure activities: In my spare time I spend time with my family and friends. We love the beach, trying new restaurants, movies and just being together.
Family members: I have two beautiful boys, Brayden, 10 and Jason, 12, they are the light of my life.
Bet you didn’t know: I was an event planner for 7 years.
Gina, Business Assistant
Duties: I am one of the friendly voices you will hear when you call ADC. I also make appointments for patients, verify dental benefits and lots of other things to help our patients have a great visit.

Daphnie, Sterilization Technician
Duties: I am responsible for maintaining our sterilization equipment as well as sterilizing our dental instruments and operatories.
Favorite thing about dentistry: Walking into the office you immediately feel welcome with all of the smiling faces. The team is a family with a positive, hard-working attitude.
Favorite thing about my job: I learn something new every day.
Leisure time: Spending time with family and friends, the beach, the movies, cookouts, shopping, traveling, and just having a fun time where ever I am.
Family: I have a huge family but my immediate family would be my mom, dad and my two younger brothers.
Bet you didn’t know: I am a member of the Santa Rosa County Creek Indian tribe and also on Indian Princess.
