Custom dental crown restoration on a tooth

Schedule Your Consultation

We begin with a thorough evaluation of the tooth, including X-rays as needed, to confirm a crown is the right treatment and to rule out any underlying issues that may need to be addressed first.

1

The tooth is gently reshaped to remove damaged or decayed structure and create room for the crown to fit properly. If the tooth has experienced significant damage, a build-up material may be added to provide a stable foundation.

2

Precise impressions of the prepared tooth are taken and sent to a dental laboratory, where your custom ceramic crown is crafted to match the shape, size, and shade of your surrounding teeth. A temporary crown is placed to protect the tooth while your permanent crown is being made.

3

Once your ceramic crown is ready, you return to our office for placement. We check the fit, bite, and appearance before permanently bonding the crown in place, leaving you with a fully restored, natural-looking tooth.
