Dental sealants protecting molars from decay

Book Your Visit

The teeth receiving sealants are thoroughly cleaned to ensure no plaque or debris remains on the surface before the coating is applied.

1

Each tooth is dried, and a mild acidic solution is applied briefly to the chewing surface. This roughens the enamel slightly, allowing the sealant material to bond securely to the tooth.

2

The sealant is painted directly onto the tooth surface, flowing into the pits and grooves to create an even, complete barrier.

3

A curing light is used to harden the sealant in place. Once set, the tooth is ready to use immediately. There is no recovery time and no restrictions on eating or drinking afterward.
