Dental extraction and bone graft procedure illustration

Book Your Visit

We begin with a thorough exam and X-rays to evaluate the tooth and surrounding bone and to discuss the best path forward, including whether an immediate implant is a good option for you.

1

Local anesthesia is administered to ensure the area is completely numb before treatment begins. Sedation options may also be available for patients who feel anxious about the procedure.

2

The tooth is carefully loosened and removed from its socket. Our team works methodically to minimize trauma to the surrounding bone and tissue.

3

If a bone graft is planned, graft material is placed directly into the socket and covered with a protective membrane to support healing. If you and our team have decided that an implant can be placed the same day, this step is replaced with immediate implant placement.

4

Before you leave, we provide detailed aftercare instructions to support healing and minimize discomfort, along with guidance on your next steps toward a complete, restored smile.
